document (in writing and visuals) chance processes and methods. Write a summary of your research
on each artist. note: this is not a biographical summary. a biographical summary will result in a
lower grade.

Activist Designers/Group

Milton Glaser

In your research, carefully document (in writing and visuals) the issues, the graphic language and the
forms (poster, postcard, website, etc.). Write a summary of your research on each designer. note: this
is not a biographical summary. if your presentation is a biographical summary, your grade will be
reduced. For chance artists concentrate on their methodology and for activist designers concentrate
on the political/activist aspects of their design.

Design and submit your research, in writing, cite sources, and do not conduct research exclusively on
the internet. If you do only cite internet sources you will get a grade deduction. Submit your research
with your summaries.
